Here’s an excerpt from YS Student Newsletter:
Called is a strange word. You don’t hear it much. You hear career; you hear job; you hear interest. People usually ask you about what you do, not what your calling is. But a calling is more than a job or career or something you do. A calling has to do with who you are. When God said to Jeremiah, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you," he was talking about a calling (Jeremiah 1:5). A calling has to do with how we’re made (read Psalm 139 for more on that). A calling is the place where your gifts, abilities, desires, and feelings of worth all meet. When you follow your calling, you feel at home, at peace—you feel as though you’re where you’re meant to be.
A calling is always accompanied by passion. When you discover your calling, you’ll be filled with joy, gratitude, and often tears. Your calling is the brand of God on your soul, the source of energy, renewal, and life. Disciples are more than people who believe in Jesus—they’re people who follow him by listening to how they’re made. A bunch of rugged fishermen with calloused hands that stunk of fish discovered that they were made for more than netting fish. They were made to fish for men and women.
Virgil is right…Your profession is not what brings home your paycheck. Your profession is what you were put on earth to do. With such passion and such intensity that it becomes spiritual in calling.

I like nonsense— it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living. It’s a way of looking at the wrong end of the telescope… and that enables you to laugh at all of life’s realities. ~Dr. Seuss
Talkin bout nonsense, yup, you have to pay wave for me…;p i now have the reason to watch NBC *winks*. I have to prick the bubble, and maintain sanity with myself— I’m betting seven to one for hailing fanaticism with the ILigan Crusaders.;p This is Player #22’s fault. hehehe. Just kiddin!:) Kuya Ephraim (from WCG-Dagupan) and his team will again be playing basketball against Taguig Forwards this Wednesday. hmmmm, exciting to see! Can’t wait!:D

Got so many blessings these days.
Ms. Valynn sent me a copy of the HBP which makes me feel (ahemm) on the can’t-stop-reading euphoria. Glad we haven’t got exams today— except for our problem set due tomorrow.;p Anyway, KMP had an outreach last Saturday at the Gawad Kalinga site in Buruun. ’twas very tedious… anyhow, we’re happy to have helped two families though all we got to do was to paint their house in pink and green (bwahahaha…cute bya!:p). After that, (tadda tadda!!!) ________ Maze Park. (Had to leave a blank for a, well, kmp matter ;p). I’ll be posting pictures soon… (arghhhhh!!!! i won’t be posting MY pics… just for people’s benefit. hehehe)

Ahhhhh!!!! I can’t wait to read the Half-Blood Prince!!! All I could do for now is seizing each moment thinking on what my friends (uhummm, HP fanatics) told me about the book. Very discouraging to think on the death of Dumbledore— sorry guys if I’m spoiling the surprises :-/— and having Severus Snape as the HBP! Sorry again guys if I’m spoiling the surprises :-/. Tars, when will you send a copy of the book?
Guess it wouldn’t be that hard if Tara will send the copy addressed through the Physics Department of my school. hehehe…some of my physics teachers actually admitted on being fanatics too. hehehe. ;p

Isaiah 1:18. "‘Let us reason together’, says the LORD. ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.’"

Ahhh!!! I still haven’t finished reading John Maxwell’s book which makes me feel melancholic.:-/ Beyond the weights I had done, I’d persisted myself on finishing Dan Brown’s book instead.:-/ I finished reading THE DA VINCI CODE night before last.:-/ The verdict? Very intriguing! I demand Burn not to read that book..bet he knows the reason! hehehe. Very demanding me.:) Though I love its plot and its twists and turns, it’s kinda horrific thinking on the possibilitites…well, (uhmmm) if it’s real. You really have to have FAITH in the Bible and in CHRIST so as not to be drag with the powerful words of Mr. Brown. Sorry too, Mr. Langdon!:-/
Nwei, we are still on the road to making our Mission Statement of our Youth BS. I have to thank Jinggoy for reminding me that. hehehe. Thanks Bri!:)

How I wish I could finish reading John Maxwell’s book on The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership before the Prelim Exams…how I wish I could sit down and relax without venting much of my time on thinking why time dilates and why length of things contracts
if its speed is relativistic. huh! Anyway, studying on the Principle of Relativity by Einstein is really fun! I had gotten the chance of reading the life of Einstein… well, about his first wife and, uhmmm, the second wife. hehehe. Very interesting!
Einstein is really poor in Math! Well, that idea shocks me! His first wife was actually the one doing all the calculations! Anyhow, Einstein still got the brains…he got a +A on analyzing things and ideas!:) He believes in the existence and the power of God which kinda encourage me to do stuffs relating theology and physics! hehehe. Perhaps, sometime… in my dreams! :-/
